Core Values

Our Mission at New Wine Church is to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. New Wine Church exists to equip and to encourage people of all ages in their pursuit of an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and the power of His Spirit.

Our Core Values at New Wine Church

Authenticity

Recognizing that we are simply clay vessels being used by Him, we want to be authentic with each other and with God. We are committed to being honest in our efforts while focused on seeking and experiencing the reality of God and His love, which is demonstrated via Jesus Christ, rather than producing a show or performance.

Obedience to Him

The Word of God and historical orthodoxy serve as measures for our hearts and activity. Regardless of the sacrifice, we are committed to God's commands. We are fully cognizant that this is just a breath in time, and our hearts are filled with the promise of eternity. "We will obey You God whatever man may say, and whatever comes our way," we aspire to obey both Logos and Rhema: The Word and the Spirit.

Honoring Him

We want to operate in a society where honor is valued, and each life is valuable before God. We value each individual's capacity to hear God and be subject to the Holy Spirit's power in their life, while we appreciate Kingdom order. We acknowledge that while we are called to ensure that each other follow the commandments of God, we leave room for God to lead and operate in each person's life.

The Community

The New Testament congregation was founded in the context of a community, but its goal was not merely to have pals for pals sake. With a shared objective (the expansion of the Kingdom of God) and adversity (persecution), this community was founded. When brothers and sisters labor together in harvesting the harvest, remaining firm in the trenches, and battling evil on the earth, we believe that genuine community is formed. Victories and failures may be shared through this comradeship. When you put your hand to the plow and help us advance God's kingdom, you'll find community here.

God's Mercy

God expects those who have been shown kindness to share it with others. The compassion of God is the driving force behind everything we do. With the world, we want to show God's affection and restorative power. Among the marginalized, homeless, poor, and rejected of society, we want to compassionately minister.
