The torn flag you bear is a testament to the struggles, the sacrifices, and the relentless battles fought within your borders. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
The Fiery Christ Awaits
At the Mercy Seat stands Christ, aflame with righteous fire, embodying both judgment and mercy. His fiery presence signifies purification, burning away the dross of sin and corruption. Yet, He stands with open arms, ready to receive and renew. His light dispels the darkness that has clouded your vision, America, and His warmth melts the coldness that has gripped your heart.
"For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God." (Deuteronomy 4:24)
A Nation’s Prayer for Mercy
The journey to the Mercy Seat is not one of ease, but of humility and surrender. As you, America, approach with a heart laid bare, the divine promise awaits you:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
